| Information: | Well perhaps, but with initiatives such as SQA's GamesSpace assessment programme for SKills for Work courses, and commercial offerings such as 3MRT's InQuizitor being used by more schools and colleges, you can't help but feeling that games-based assessment is slowly coming into the mainstream. A lot's happened since the days of Pong - now there are a range of freely available games that can be used for formative assessment with your students. Perhaps it's time you put down your pens, picked up a joystick and took another look at what games have to offer. |
